If so you know of any mods to get up-to-date teams or ways to edit it (other than edit name, I spose..) to get current players...

Sup man, yes, I certainly do, every time I have a spare moment my mind drifts back to it... And, thank ye Gods, all the updated databases from ICC 2001 and 2002 work with 2000! That also means that the ICC 2000 databases can be edited with Magpie too.. although you do have to grab the 'original' ICC 2002 databases from the 'Editing with Magpie' thread.
Just browse around this forum, you'll find some new ones! ;)
