it is required that half of the squad that is selected to go to the world cup for south africa be players of colour. so why is lonwabo tsotsobe and robin petersen not in the world cup squad. robin 's injury has healed and he is definitely available now.

why when players of colour are available that clearly deserves to be there are they not chosen that makes me question if the cricket establishment in south africa only chooses players of color for political reason s .what about justin ontong for the captaincy ??

OP what are you on about? Tsotsobe is injured and Tahir has performed better than Peterson in limited overs cricket. Simple as that.

Just because you've played for SA many times, doesn't mean that you'll be a decent selector, just as because you have played 100 Tests means you'll be a good commentator or coach.

vicnent barnes has a magnificent record. its a great loss for south africa that he never played for sa. an average of 12 as a bowler ? that is sad and horrifying he never played for sa.

i hope they retein him as a selector once he retires as coach.

But Tahir has been bowling well against all the other sides, we may not even play Australia at all in this World Cup, so bringing up Tahir's record against them is silly. He was our best bowler against West Indies and India so far in this World Cup, so I really don't see why you think Peterson should be there before him.

commentators just relay information about the match. on a bit vague on coaches. but i believe that having a strong group of people who has been there at the highest level gives you an advantage when those pressure situation arrises like kepler wessels who is the only test batsmen to have scored more than 1000 test for two countries.

how do you explain the inability of sa batsmen to perform against india and pakistan while under pressure ?? lack of preperation ?? why did the side who played against pakistan only have 3 players of colour : amla tahir duminy when they are supposed to be at least five players of colour.

what an insult to the intelligence and honor of black and coloured communities in south africa.

why do the largest part of coloured and black communities in sa not receive sabc 3 where all the cricket matches are televised ? how are people of colour supposed to see their heroes play only to find whites beings pushed in when important matches are being played ?? i am white and i find that offensive to say the least.

i do not believe that and i have repeatedly come with solutions to the questions i posed .

i do not have faith in the selectors that are currently in position simply because they dont know what it is to play in a world cup with the exception of andrew hudson. if ntini and gibbs were there i would have supported them.
