Yeah, was just about to post the same thing. What a great start to this tournament - wish I could have watched it.

w00t go Singapore! Awesome stuff.

Hong Kong vs Ireland next, and this one will be televised. Lets hope the upsets continue.

tbf the ICC Academy ground is the only one of the three being used that doesn't have lights apparently, which is why they get the first game of the day. They probably did try to get a television set up there but probably couldn't manage it for some reason.

Can’t believe we pulled it off :D

Without David contributing too, bloody huge win that. Up there with the Nepal and Zimbabwe wins.

HK batting first. Decent start except for the early wickets. It's a hot day, hopefully we cook them a bit under the sun, put up a solid score, and then build some pressure with the ball

Kinchit Shah is a proper hero. From being a bit of a meme in the HKT20 Blitz for getting to captain the franchise his family owned, to winning that very T20 Blitz by dismissing Sangakarra with his bowling in a crucial stage of the final, to then being a key player throughout the Asia Cup qualifiers, and then being one of our best players in the Asia Cup, and then earning the vice-captaincy, and now this innings today. Great guy too. Proper Hero.

This game is interestingly poised. Meanwhile, looks like Kenya is a long way off the pace against the Netherlands.

HK's bowling hasn't been that good today. Much looser than they usually are. Probably the pressure of the occasion and lack of experience telling here.

Ireland too good

153 maybe a bit below-par, and the bowling/fielding was definitely not as good as it could be.

But it's a young, inexperienced side. Not a bad fight all considered. Ireland just too good for this level.

That outing from Collins Obuya has to be one of the greatest all-round performances in T20I cricket:

63(40), 7x4, 2x6
3-0-16-2, 7 dots, 1x4, 0 nb, 0 wds
1 catch
