Australia tilt at the record

Malleeboy

The current Australian team is currently sitting on the second longest winning (wins without neither loss.draw/tie) at 12 with six home tests coming up and given our home track record, we might get close to breaking our own record of 16. (Incidently they are sitting on the equal fourth longest streak without loss.)

It'd certainly be a magnificent achievement if we did it.

However I have no doubt there'd be people crapping on Ponting's captaincy for it somehow.

I think its already a tremendous achievement by the Aussies and winning (atleast) five more games in a row would just make it memorable and historical achievement, its not going to be too easy for the Aussies to beat Lanka and India but the fact that they are playing at home should help, but having said that the Aussie pitch curators also need to prepare pitches with a bit of pace and carry (rather than preparing flat and dead tracks).
