Why though? Was it because he was inconsistent with one or the other discipline or what was it that differentiatied him and made him worse than botham or Imran?

Because Imran and Botham were both more talented?

Good as Kapil was, there's no way he was as good as the former Botham and the latter Imran.

I honestly think it's a shame he hasn't already retired from Tests, doesn't retire from ODIs after this Cup and doesn't play his last game for Australia in South Africa next autumn.
