Nice work in completely missing the point there. It's anybody's guess why he wasn't called, but it's utterly stupid to say "nobody called him before Hair, ergo Hair must have been wrong to call him, and the system under which Hair operated was wrong". As I said before, the Murali issue is not the only chucking issue in cricket, and it is far from the simplest one. He's certainly the most important bowler in recent times to be called for throwing, but the fact is that removing the protections against chuckers opens the door for far more of the Shabbir Ahmed type situations than the Murali ones, as Murali is basically a one-off. If Shabbir Ahmed could have been called for throwing, England might well have won a test last November that they lost instead, and it's most likely not going to be the last time such a thing occurs with the new rules.
