Wonder if I set declaration too late. We'll need to bowl them out today if we have any chance at winning it tomorrow. At least we get full gate revenue.

Remaketse 52 (88 balls)

Heading towards a pretty big defeat. Can't believe they made 672 after being 130-5. Most of my batsmen have made starts but faile to carry on in this game. Rested my two best bowlers though to try and get their fitness levels up. Hopefully we'll at least last to day 3.

Why are you selling the respectable bowler? He'll be gun for you if you keep training him on 2 bowling nets.

Really pleased with the resistance of my batsmen so far.

Second Innings of: oz fans XI
Extras (7b, 1lb, 2w, 2nb) 12
Total (64.0 overs, 6 wickets) 279
Dodd* 69(82)
Brooks* 15(29)

Basically need these two to bat pretty much all tomorrow. Still got one player who can at least hold the bat. I'm going to set all my batsmen to very defensive and hope for the best.

yer i stuffed up with him, was meant to sell another player but listed him, and there is no way to stop it is there. so
You can buy him back by outbidding all the others - you'll effectively be paying yourself, so you won't lose the money you bid. All that you will lose is 5% of the fee in tax, but I'd say that's worth doing - a resp/med 17 year old ain't half bad...

Priyantha 9-2-14-2
Liyanarachchi* 44 (81 balls)
Vaas 0 (15 balls)

Last Wicket: Andru c. Clayton b. Matharu 0 (FOW: 108/7)
Hopefully they can bat for another 10 overs and we can take the match into the 3rd day.

EDIT:

****

W Matharu to Vaas
Vaas tries to play inside the line but Matharu has bowled a little cutter that has jagged back and taken the edge. A brilliant dive forward at second slip and the catch is taken.

Made 401 in my first innings with Ellis 254* off 189 from no. 7, didn't include any other decent bats in the lineup. Made 166k on the first day so I'll stretch it out to three.

57.3 W Marrison to Cullip
Great diving catch by Hennessy. Cullip thought it was four!

Into the tail now - if we can get the last 4 wickets for 29 runs we can make them follow on. Come on boys!

i kept him guys thank god...........
Well done! Bet you won't be making that mistake again ;)

Another wicket down - 3 to go and they need 20 to avoid the follow on. Very compelling match this.

End of Over 66 (Maiden). Jacksons Giants: 193-7, runrate=2.92
Trail by 170 runs. (The Heath CC 363-2 dec)
Hardy 17-3-41-2
Cumberworth* 0 (5 balls)
Patrick 20 (100 balls)

Last Wicket: Guppy Hit Wicket b. Westwood 6 (FOW: 193/7)

Edit: Westwood. Such a star.

66.6 W Westwood to Coutts
Hit high into the air, Singh fumbled but caught the ball at the 2nd attempt.
66.5 W Westwood to Cumberworth
Got'im! That one reared up nastily and Cumberworth could only fend it off to the keeper.

Edit: And Hardy wraps it up

The players are off the field for the change of innings.

End of Over 68 (Maiden). Jacksons Giants: 193-10, runrate=2.84
Trail by 170 runs. (The Heath CC 363-2 dec)
Hardy 17-3-41-3
Walton* 0 (0 balls)

67.2 W Hardy to Patrick
Charges the delivery, struck in the air but not very far, Gardiner takes the catch at mid wicket a few metres inside the circle.

So, Jacksons Giants are 170 behind and about to follow on. Would be awesome if we could wrap it up today with around 76 overs left to play.

i fegot to set the orders for two days running! oh dear!

Neil 26-2-127-1
Baholo* 21 (25 balls)
Thomas 17 (45 balls)

Last Wicket: Drew lbw b. Woodward 0 (FOW: 626/9)

but the score is still good and i am hoping to get a good win or i recon it will be a dull draw unforunally.

Well, at least the fresh bots make it easier to drag home matches out for two days' revenue. Next up on Friday: the match that could pretty much see me home and hosed for the OD top spot. Exciting stuff. :)
