World Cup tickets on sale

Tickets for the 2007 World Cup went on sale day before yesterday in the Caribbean, on ticket outlets throughout the islands, as well as online.

Although a rush was expected at the ticket offices, only a handful of were sold in the first few hours. However, online sales have been far busier, and are expected to contribute the largest chunk in the overall figure.

Roughly 800,000 tickets are on sale for the tournament, with different offers and packages. The most popular, currently from the sales, looks the one which includes all three: the opening ceremony, the opening match and the final.

Tickets can be bought online at: http://www.cricketworldcup.com.
