More Evin Lewis rumors…

He is considering a 180 in his international retirement

We might see him playing test cricket soon lol
Is he building an extension to his house?

Even at 34 years old, Evin Lewis playing tests isn't the worst idea or option. Here's hoping.

Probably not, but it'll be nice if the option is there because there isn't any other ones.
I still doubt whether he would make it to the side. Like you mentioned, at 34, it is somewhat of a backward step for the WICB to put their faith in him. I'd rather lose with a fresh set of legs than go after someone who has been persisted with, for quite some time.

Campbell, King and even Tage haven't done enough to get dropped from last year's tours and Lewis ain't a Hope level talent you just parachute into the side at all costs. Can't see it happening tbh unless he scores a lot in the four day.

That’s the realistic answer. But, we have seen with Sammy bringing in people…see: Ojay Sheilds

I reckon we draw one with Windwards and the split the other two

Sammy's comment a few years ago about not having people wanting to play for WI- that's probably what might prompt an Ewin Lewis selection, if the others want to play T20 for franchisees.

It's hard to know what Sammy's mindset is.

He told Kemar Roach last June the side was moving forward without him, only to end up playing against New Zealand.

Johnson Charles was selected ahead of Evin Lewis for the T/20 World Cup despite probably nobody agreeing with that decision.

Whether he was involved in the Darren Bravo selection situation, we don't know.

Trinidad and Tobago Red Force

Joshua Da Silva (captain), Cephas Cooper, Evin Lewis, Amir Jangoo, Jason Mohammed, Yannic Cariah, Terrence Hinds, Khary Pierre, Jayden Seales, Anderson Phillip, Bryan Charles, Jyd Goolie and Joshua James.

No place for Jeremy Solozano.

Lewis, 34, has been impressive during the ongoing Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board Premier Division Championships with a high score of 232 not out, the second of three consecutive hundreds spell for the dangerous opener.

For the T&TCB 2026 season so far, Lewis has scored an unbeaten 232 against Merryboys, 113 against Powergen Penal and 106 against Prisons.

I like the inclusion of Zeynul Ramsammy. Watched some of his batting during the inter-county last year. He’s not perfect, but can hold an end with his grit.

The Jamaican franchise for the CPL is now called Jamaica Kingsmen.

Why can’t we have original team names
