Whatever it takes!!!
Vaibhav's fanbase will make Kohli's look mentally well adjusted by comparison if he reaches his peaks.

For all the discussion on his 'real' age, at least he can pass for 15 so I'll credit him for that. There are Afghan U19 players who shook the hand of Calvin Coolidge still coming through.
I think at worst he is about 1.5 years older than stated. That makes him 16 and still makes everything he has been doing just as impressive.

I don't know if it's true because atp these all are rumours without any proof, but the funniest I read was that he was offered a Bollywood actress for a night as a gift for winning the 2011 world cup.
Shouldn't she be offered to Gambhir or Dhoni though? Sachin did sweet **** all in the final

Maybe offered to him by corporate bookies for underperforming in the finals. You know crime syndicate and mafia had close ties to Bollywood back in those days. Many of the fixers had flings with models and heroines.

This kid is my guilty pleasure, whether he becomes a great Test bat or not I'll always find it funny that this mid-teen is taking down the best bowlers in the world.

Generally I think it's a bit of harmless fun at the expense of a public figure(s) who probably gives **** all what the denizens of some niche cricket forum might speculate.

If anyone is taking these as serious matters of fact, they need to have their heads checked.

Casual mention of a Bollywood actresses being "offered" is crass though.
On second thought yeah, it definitely is.

BUT, it is down right tame compared to what some of the dudes in American football or basketball get up to, on the womanizing front. In a sad, but telling way it's kind of quaint that Sachin, the great hero of cricket, getting up to a small fraction of such extracurriculars would be seen as such a great scandal.

You've got Hardik Pandya for that. Let us continue to believe in nerdy innocence of Tendulkar.

There are a lot of things that can stop Vaibhav from being an ATG, but a lack of talent is not one of them.

I'm backing the kid. He's a generational talent. I hope he goes on to make the most of it.

The next two Ranji seasons for him will be key.
