The pitches in IPL have always seemed to be very batter friendly but they must be next level friendly to allow for what has happened this year. I have seen only little bits of it but it seems all too easy for huge totals.

I haven't watched the IPL as much in recent years as pre COVID. I always felt that 160-180 was usually a good score in the IPL, whereas 140-160 more so in the Blast.

Now it seems 220 is under par in the IPL.
