Why do you harp on that series and not the notorious 1990 series where Wasim and Waqar were accused of tampering but Imran didn’t play? Or the footage of the 1992 England series?

All of these series (including 1982), represent meaningless hearsay from sour grapes opponents and opposing media. No one was sanctioned.

No point denying ball tampering happened. It was widespread.

Yes it existed, it was widespread on a continuum. It is true that some people were even caught for it, but this happened much less before the prevalence of 1 million camera angles.

There is absolutely no reason or evidence other than racialist, or other type of bias to say Pakistan players are the main guilty parties historically. Large majority of players caught over the years were not Pakistani.

If you're unwilling to do a simple Google search before believeing the worst about only one specific group of people, then yes you carry some sort of implicit internal bias.

That’s what former umpire John Holder said after he caught Phil Tufnell ball tampering, approached captain Gooch about it who shrugged it off, only for Holder to see Gooch during the 1992 series against Pakistan wanting to see the ball handled by the Pakistanis during a break, Holder said Gooch was a hypocrite who only cared about tampering because the Pakistanis were good at it.
