I guess Akram is better than his raw stats and other stuff like peak ICC ratings that work against him. Maybe this forum underrates him quite a bit (including myself).

He is a definite top 10 pacer and any list that doesn't put him there isn't serious.

Extra long career and slips worked against him.

Which is ironic since most of the active users of this site are into the Boomer category. The subcontinental ones (#BaapDadaKeZamane) specially love Wasim to death.

Umm..... I am one the bigger Wasim guys and def puts him top 10, but all of Donald, Lillee, Trueman, Lindwall, Garner, Holding and Bumrah has a case, outside the automatic top 6, barring Barnes.

Sure. There are those who go purely on surface stats and those who also factor in other things.

Donald wasn't better than Wasim or Lillee. He is the archetype of a player with misleading pretty stats.

There is not a single bat who played both Donald and Wasim and thought Wasim wasnt better.

As for Lillee, maybe Donald could talk if he did better against Australia.

Having a top ten list of pacers without Wasim is like having a top ten list of bats without Lara. Not serious IMO.
