A 3 A-test tour by India A has been confirmed for October. Would be good to see Tom O'Connor get a crack at some point.
Latest August tour there's ever been. Clashing with Ford Trophy and India LOIs, but good preparation for the tests. Looking like a great opportunity for Henry Nicholls to score some more runs before failing miserably in Australia.

Plunket Shield schedule also released. Auckland's last two home FC games are at Colin Maiden.

Hmm, Heaphy is in Australia – that's good. Robinson back from injury (?) too. Matt Boyle sitting on 94*.

I hope South Australia's alliterative opening combo of Hoogenboezem and Halfpenny don't cause us problems.

Heaphy perhaps added to squad after Foxcroft injury? Assume Jacobs and Hay rested today.

Black Caps social media says "All 12 players will feature in the match with Jayden Lennox the non-batter" so I assume game not counted in List A player stats.

These 50 over games appear to be 12-a-side, judging by the scorecard.

What a load of crap (for us), maybe 12-a-side make sense for the opponents. But not for us who have already been there a fortnight playing 'miscellaneous' classed cricket.

Although. On the bright side. It makes future stats filtering by NZ 'A' level easier for the nerds.

Would think it would be much more likely. As opposed to the Top End T20 squad, as O'Connor has played zero T20 matches yet for Otago. And the selectors seem to take that sort of thing seriously.

There’s an Instagram reel here of Heaphy and Fisher at the Chennai SK Academy. Heaphy mentions as they go into the gym that it is “where Fish spends all his time.” You can see how much more robust Fisher is these days.
