Sort of implies it's more than just the India tour (2 Tests, 5 ODIs, 3 T20Is). But unless we're going to play in early October again, that seems implausible.
You could have an India tour running from the back half of October well into November though. The first test on the tour of Australia starts on 9 December.

The below site shows the India tour starting in October. Disregard the info re the number of ODI’s and T20’s as we know the numbers of each were revised.

The India tour will be almost as long as the Windies tour we had last summer. Even without the 3rd Test, it's a 2-5-5 tour that will end in late November. Those two extra ODIs will add another week to what was already a 5 week tour.

It's a tight squeeze for both us & India - they're hosting the Windies beforehand while we head to Australia afterwards. There was a 1-week buffer either way, & just expanding the ODIs eats into that buffer.

Should be an exciting summer on the men's side, but surely we could have done a bit better for the White Ferns? No disrespect to Bangladesh, but that's pretty underwhelming.

Champions Trophy in February. They were scheduled to tour Australia around that time, but that's being moved. CA will also need to get on the phone to CSA to discuss their tour which was scheduled straight after during March.
Why they created a WCT is beyond me, especially as a T20 tournament to add to the 2 T20WCs & the Olympics? They're not even hiding their favoritism toward T20.

It's probably irrational on my part, partly due to currently being in the dead of winter, but I'm not that hyped about summer. It's weird because I feel I should be. Maybe I'm just bored of October starts, constant chunks being taken out of the home summer (even if these ones are better than the ICC tournaments) & all that jazz. 10 Tests in 4 months should be amazing, but I'm just not feeling it. I'll probably feel it in spring.
