Did Tugs have a decent bit of pace back in the day? From what I remembered he was one of those guys who was probably touching 140 but sprayed it.

It was Sam Wells himself who decided not to put in a longer tenure of service though!

Pretty weird trying to pin everything on the boomers, when it's the dorky atheist millennials like Wells and Vettori who just weren't raised to serve anything higher than their own self-enrichment.

That's my whole point. You're sticking it too the self-enriching boomers by....ordering in a South African to be your coach, or maybe your chief selector. Likes it's Uber Eats or something. Pathetic.

Maybe a quarter of the podcast is about his time in NZ.

It's interesting to me. I switched off during the Moles years, is a my black hole in my NZ knowledge. Not because of Moles that I switched off.

Anything of note in it?

Andy Moles would have some significant stories to tell, whether he feels like he wants to air that is another story
Yeah the stuff about taking the coaching gig with Afghanistan was pretty eye opening. Apparently got a direct message from the Taliban saying "DW bro we like cricket so we're not going to bomb you (directly anyway)" meanwhile he went to sleep with missles whistling overhead most nights.

I don't even say this to be silly - I bet he preferred this over coaching NZ with player power in full swing. I genuinely mean that
