South Africa team selection

Statement is ambiguous; it says international so still playing for Lions? But thanking Lions people as though retiring there too...
Did Klaasen and Shamsi even play white-ball for Titans this season ? Probably similar in they are T20 freelancers now. But maybe he leaves the door open to play the odd white-ball game for Lions.

Klaasen played the csa t20, not the modc. Not sure Shamsi is even definitively linked to the titans.

Klaasen played in the t20 competition but not all games. Don't recall shamsi playing.

I actually thought Rassie would last until the home CWC in South Africa. They had a good chance with the likes of Rassie and Klaasen in the side.

South African lads. Has Leus du Plooy ever been discussed as a serious option for a call up?

Blokes been qualified for England for two years now but seems highly unlikely he'll ever get the call.

Unstated precedent won't be until he goes back to representing his province (see also Piedt, Harmer, Olivier, Bedingham) Which he is doing next season. He's also eligible for Hungary (where his brother plays). He's probably most likely to get into the t20i team, but not sure he's going to be ahead of Stubbs, Pretorius, Brevis and quite a few others in that upper middle order spot.
