Professional Cricket Clubs in Scotland, Ireland, Nederland and Italia?

Dazinho

I'm sort of torn on this, part of me would like to see a proper 'European game' and four or five day matches between Ireland, Scotland, Netherlands, Italy etc. That said there's the question of exactly where the players would come from and would it really be teams half made up of B internationals from other countries.

The missed opportunity with Kenya is an interesting one from history after their ODI team peaked in the late 90s/early 2000s. I suppose the question is...was it really a missed or a Kenyan 'golden generation' that was unsustainable?

Cricket in Kenya has failed to spread beyond the private members' clubs whose scholarships created that golden generation of the 1990s and early 2000s.

No. In fact Glamorgan have been something of an all Wales side - until recently they regularly played at least one game a season in Colwyn Bay in the north of Wales.
Then Glamorgan CCC should be renamed to Wales CC (or Cymru CC).

TBF Wales also has a Minor counties team that represents the non-Glamorgan bits of Leekistan and used to play List A in the old Nat West Trophy days.

Would guess they must be semi-pro at least.
