The catching wasn't good.
Bangladesh dropping more than they caught is brilliant. Whilst England have clearly improved their fitness levels, I'm not sure 77% should be winning, especially when you won't have any tough slip chances in there to bring averages down.

Yeah tbf the rule makes sense as you cant differentiate between a player who plays 1 game out of 4 and is then injured and out of the squad Vs a Pratika Rawal type situation. Its better the rule can be what it is but you kinda let common sense dictate like they have done here.

I think if you're in the squad, you should get a medal regardless. Getting an injury replacement in shouldn't change that, because you've still contributed to the campaign. Even if you play one game and get injured, it's still more of a contribution than squad players who don't get a look in at all.

Fair enough and I hope ICC does change the rules that way soon. But FWIW, I can see why the rule is what it is today.
