Can't decide if the run out was Bates or Plimmer's fault......probably the latter, there was a run there but she was fast asleep at the non-striker's end.

Not convinced, think it comes on quite nicely under the lights (it did yesterday).

But this is a horrific start by NZ, worse than the men earlier. NRR could be key to qualifying.....
The Aus team didn't seem to think there was much difference in the games they played and the heat & humidity just seems to be too much for the team fielding first if they aren't used to it.

110 in 60 is stretching the limits of possibility but this is great from Devine and Gaze.

We conceded way too many from what, 5/128 at one point.

Gee our tail is spineless. Obviously this was a hopeless situation but god help if we ever need something from them.

Damn, I was hopeful for Darcie Brown but looks like a bad day for her.

Kind of disappointing the NZ tail couldn't at least stick around to improve the NRR.

Seems clear we will be facing two very different wickets when playing in India or Sri Lanka.
India good batting wickets and Sri Lanka loads of spin.

I'm wondering if we're going to see any proper old school thumpings in this tournament that was the scourge of early World Cups (Men & Women). I suspect the batting of these two may be most vulnerable to one of the big teams building a hefty NRR bonus.

Well played Sir. Put a nice curse on my ladies.

Sorry, wasn't expecting this. Thought this would be a close game, but if you get the SA Top 4 out cheaply then I'm not sure there's much else to follow.
We are very reliant on wolfvaardt,Brits and kapp. I don't get dercksen and Smit not playing. They played all the recent odi's but when the big moment comes we go back to the experience. Surely you don't suddenly change course.
