Slow going from West Indies, but they always have a chance with Matthews still in and wickets in hand.

I like how McGrath has used her bowling options so far though. Most of her main options have had a bowl and she has options available depending on what she wants to do. The Windies haven't been able to settle well as a result of all the changes and the run rate is over 6 now. Need to pick up a few wickets.

Tuned in for the last 5 overs last night, what a great game. How we ended up with Bates bowling the last over though is...questionable.
99 overs into the match and not a single six hit and she concedes two with what you could describe as perfect slot balls. Terrible stuff.
Take nothing away from Reyneke though she's a real gun.

Yeah, and when you consider Mair picked up a combined two wickets for two runs in the 46th and 48th, jeez it would have been handy if she could have bowled the 50th too.

South Africa are piling on a massive score here, and I don't really see us getting close.

That first game might have been our best chance to pick up a win all series.

I just don't get it. How can we put together a competent T20 team but the ODI team is still crap? A catching clinic is needed pronto, & better selections. We need Anderson opening YESTERDAY. I'm sorry, Bates has had it & we can't continue carrying her.

They're doing a better job of this chase than I expected, particularly this partnership, but I still don't think they can get there.

Record chase well on here. NZ are miles ahead of South Africa at this stage. Kerr is in complete control, and Gaze is playing a blinder.

The warning signs were there when Jafta made runs. It's a boundary or two every over at the moment.

The continued improvement of Gaze is so good to see, and she's still only 21. If she keeps progressing like this, she could be one of the better keeper-bats around in a few years' time. Hoping she'll get a WPL contract some time soon.

Sharp's a good prospect, and Jess Kerr is capable enough, but I'm not sure how much I'd trust the batting to come after them.

What a stop by de Klerk! I thought/hoped that one was heading straight to the boundary.

Sharp's inexperience is showing so far in this innings. Hopefully she can build a bit of confidence the longer she stays out there.

Sumo is saying de Klerk has saved South Africa a lot of runs today, but de Klerk dropped Kerr on 11.
