Now who care
Well it looks like Bartlett is going to bowl throw-downs anyway so it doesn't matter.Bowling Kuhnemann there was a complete prank decision. Wildermuth might've gone the journey too, but the seamers were doing well and Bartlett/Zaman defended a very small over with two overs to go against the Hurricanes. That over killed them.

Australia selecting Test and ODI squads on BBL form but deciding to ignore it when it comes to T20Is.They've announced a big squad to play T20Is in Pakistan in the lead up to the World T20 - including Renshaw, Owen, Philippe, Jack Edwards. But still no Steve Smith.
They've given up on him it seems
Maybe. It's just a pointless dummy spit in my eyes. I agree with you in that he didn't do anything egregious. Purely frustration and a dent to his ego like you saidI dunno if I'm in the minority but I have no issue on a human level with Babar losing his ****. 'Oh won't they think of the children' Gilly said on commentary, and if my kids were watching, I'd explain that it's a high performing pro who copped a blow to his ego and responded accordingly.
He's got alot of raw potential so I'm not surprised, plus he's been around the squads the past few monthsmahli beardman has been added to the aussie squad and like idk... i feel that he's been... fine? he's clearly a decent prospect but i wouldn't say he's really set the bbl en fuego. compare say when spejo came on to the scene and was bullying other teams for fun right
Yeah in an ideal world, one where humans are completely wide open to their own flaws, he'd see the logic in what Smith does. But humans have an ego for a reason, and it flares up in situations. I don't think his team would have given a ****. They'd have seen it for what it was. As a team mate, I would have sympathised with him. No one wants to be made to look like that.I still dont think its a good look. Its a TEAM sport. He was shown up as an average/good T20 player who couldn't accelerate in his innings and chewed up balls. Plus also its Steve Smith who is an objectively better player than you striking at 180/200 coming off a great innings
He's done that throughout a time when he's been wildly mediocre in T20Is though, right?Giving Short like thirty games of utter mediocrity across formats because of BBL form and then ignoring Smith absolutely ruining the competition every time he plays is just bizarre
