Terrible

I hope they don't sugarcoat how atrocious this is. NZ women cricketers get paid really big money, had heaps of great preparation, and take a lot of bouquets when things go well (last WT20 and SA series at the start of the year) so it is time for some brickbats

As expected catches going down. Doesn't matter whether it's franchise cricket, test cricket or world cups, nobody can catch properly. I bet if teams work as hard on it as they do on batting and bowling, it will massively increase their likelihood of winning games.
Proved right again. NZ were pathetic in the field.

That was not much fun for NZ fans. :(

The six dropped catches might come back to haunt us.

Just watched the HLs now because I slept through my alarm & didn't watch it live (just as well I didn't. I would've been swearing at the TV over breakfast).

Terrible start to the title defence. We could afford to lose to England but not to the Windies. The contrast to last time was stark - that win vs India set up that whole road to the title.
