Sounds like it'll be a super chaos tournament in the shadow of the soccerball World Cup but if you don't want meatwall it might provide something else

Only the 18.30 games will potentially clash with the football, and I genuinely think interest in that will not properly start until the knockout rounds (unless you're Scottish). Good to see more than one game each day, the Men's Tournaments could learn from this. Although, clearly a couple of wet days in the wrong locations could turn it into a farce.

do we know if they have any rest day rules?

This is going to be an interesting World Cup. From Group A, one of Aus, SA, or Ind will be knocked out in this round. And from Group B, we can expect an upset or two from the lower ranked teams. We've already seen Pak and Bang losing to the likes of Ireland, Scotland and Netherlands in the past few days in buildup to the World Cup.

Unfortunate as I'd have said SAf are the third best team at the moment (regardless of what rankings suggest) and could potentially win if it Aus have a stinker. It's an open group though. England and NZ should have enough in the second group though WI, like their mens side, blow hot and cold.

FIFA will eat this tournament alive! There's no way ICC going to get more eyeballs on this one.

I'd say India are the weaker of the three teams. Wolvaardt is in the form of her life. The rest of the SA team looks fabulous. Reyneke and Dercksen have settled in well. de Klerk has established a good reputation over the past 6-12 months. The return of van Niekerk and Ismail will boost the team moral. Would be interesting to see who they drop from the playing 11.

Who did this draw, the same people who did the 2027 Rugby World Cup one. Geez Group A  :-O
To be fair, they've split the 4 semi finalists from the last one evenly and then put India and England into separate groups. It may look odd, but it kind of isn't.

The issue was probably NZ somehow winning the last World Cup.

Why are England not second favourites now? It's seems puzzling to me tbh. They beat India convincingly, squad would get better with inclusion of NSB and they have the easier group. Instead what I see is Australia shortening a tad from already really short price. Maybe it gets corrected when tournament actually starts.

I think they decided the biggest threat to Australia was India, and having seen them get beaten by a fairly average England team, they've decided there is no real threat to the Aussies. They may well be right, but I wouldn't back them at that price in T20. England, India and SA all have players with the firepower to singlehandedly win games.

Yeah fair enough. The issue with backing Australia is say if they get wrong end of conditions in first game against South Africa and get beaten, then they have to win 6 in a row to win the world cup and all of sudden your 1.63 bet starts looking a bit silly.
