He's been out of form for way too long. I say rest him for a while, then give him another chance. That would clear up his mind.Already given up on Ayub?
No, it will be trimmed down. Probably to 14-15 players.Very strange to see 18 players in the test squad for Pakistan for simply a short two match series at home. shows that selectors are clueless and it breeds insecurity in the players.
Why announce 18 and then trim again? Could have just declared 15.No, it will be trimmed down. Probably to 14-15 players.

If three day series are mandated then teams simply won't play tests. The one question I have is whether the WTC condition stop teams playing four day tests. As much as I'd rather not have them, I think they could help the smaller teams. Its time the ICC stepped in and made minimum 3 test matches per series mandatory,
I disagree, the players want more test cricket, true cricket fans want more tests. teams stopping playing tests ? it would not happen,, however your 4 day test idea is a good one,If three day series are mandated then teams simply won't play tests. Teams don't have the money and test attendances outside of Australia and England tell the tale of fan interest.I disagree, the players want more test cricket, true cricket fans want more tests.
the cost of playing extra an test is hardly bank breaking, the so called lesser nations where desperate to get test status,Teams don't have the money and test attendances outside of Australia and England tell the tale of fan interest.
Most teams lose money, sometimes quite considerably, playing tests, when they don't have much to spare in the first place. Denying reality doesn't make it any less real.the cost of playing extra an test is hardly bank breaking, the so called lesser nations where desperate to get test status,
