Isn't Jason Smith that?In 50 over cricket you've got to have 6 bowling options just to freshen things up ..We of all teams should know the value of all rounders
Has pretty much given up on bowling. Think he's bowled once in his last dozen games or soIsn't Jason Smith that?
Well they've certainly boosted their chances on this tour, although Abbas (despite the duck) is another strong option too.Perhaps white ball all-rounder pairing of Keene + Foulkes will do the job that Elliott + Anderson then de Grandhomme + Neesham did in NZ's run to successive World Cup ODI finals ???
I feel bad bringing up the 95 semifinal but it was crazy that SA had Duminy and AB sharing the 5th bowler role. To me that was far more of a selectorial error than Philander over Abbot. In 50 over cricket you've got to have 6 bowling options just to freshen things up ..We of all teams should know the value of all rounders
And he kicks off with a wicket maiden to boot. Keene as mustard today.Keene, cutting and pulling the ball like a dream. The best lower-order back-foot player they've put in a NZ shirt since 2002 Scott Styris, probably.
Sorry for the big curse, he'll fall shortly after the drinks break here.
Awesome! This match has been dominated by the Hermann brothers ..
Great to see .
The Malans skirted around the team, or two of them did...Awesome!
Only previous batting brothers that come to mind we've had were the Kirsten's and they were half brothers.
Amazingly both sets of brothers went to Hoer Waterkloof. The Malans skirted around the team, or two of them did...
Morne Morkel did once open the batting in a test match...Awesome!
Only previous batting brothers that come to mind we've had were the Kirsten's and they were half brothers.

Keene was impressive opening the batting for Auckland in Super Smash too.The ease with which Keene got a cut and a pull away against Coetzee was pretty noteworthy.
Someone with a pretty low-ceiling vibe like Dale Phillips opening, a gormless bumpkin like Clarkson at 7, yet Keene's coming in as a No. 9, that'll probably be looked back on as a bit of a joke in the years to come.
