Fitness permitting, yes. Not so sure about Rohit. If we want Jaiswal and Gill opening, and I think we do, we need to get them a string of games now. I just dont think a top 6 of all right handers is gonna cut it at the WC.

RR Vs RCB would have been far more of a contest. ****ing GT had to ruin everything.
Stating facts is not hating my friend. And it was all based on previous games. Coming to today, he played really well but the victory was never in question for RCB at any stage. At halfway mark, GT were 8.4 to win the match, which basically means 88% chance for RCB to win. When Venky went out GT were 20's(95% chance for RCB). So very well anchored chase but the game was sealed in first 12 overs by bowlers. All my arguments are based on stats, probabilities and not personal dislike or anything.

Overall the league has seen declining viewership over the years. Gameplay and quality has fallen. It is not what it used to be 7-8 years ago. Domestic players are substandard, bar a few. Lack of foreign interest- its become a sad league.

What's the take on players playing with injuries in the IPL and then missing out on national duty,citing the same?
We have seen Virat, Riyan playing the IPL with injuries. This puts their future national participation in doubt. This is ok, if the player is retired, but for active cricketers, the individual boards should have /force a say so on the same.
