*Official* Indian Premier League 2026

Those were a couple of bad calls from Miller. Last ball of 19th over, he should have refused a single to keep strike in the last over. Then when it was time to take a single off the 2nd last ball to level the match, he simply refused. Why would you forgo such an opportunity? You wouldn't do so in the world cup.
He was channeling his inner Dre Russ

Agreed, especially the penultimate ball. It guaranteed a super over at the very worse and would've allowed a free swing for Kuldeep on the last ball.

As an aside, how much time is being lost for DRS on wides? It's almost unwatchable, and the farce after the final ball was a joke. But then you sense the IPL likes to stretch games out as long as possible, yesterday's was well over 4 hours.

I only watch if there's nothing else on, fortunately the Masters starts today.

Teams still only have two unsuccessful reviews per innings. They are not getting any extra reviews.

IPL games are finishing faster than they used to. There is a 60 second countdown after each over like in internationals. If a side is slow on the overrate, they are penalised with fielding restrictions. Not to mention that the captain gets fined a relatively big sum (12,000 to 30,000 pounds) If there is a repeat offence, the whole team gets fined as well like 25% of match fee. It gets progressively worse after each offence. So no team wants to be slow on the overrate. And IPL is absolutely discouraging it too. (Gill fined for yesterday's)

I do agree drs on wides is stupid so is impact sub but ipl being long enough goes to lazy india Fielders and bowlers. Don't forget indian captains were suspended the most for bowling their overs late

Idiotic from Miller, really.

Btw, I would expect him to do the same in a World Cup Final as well. Doesn't surprise me!

21 year old Mukul Choudhary looked really good yesterday. Won a match for Lucknow that was all but gone. His six hitting was very much young dhoni like; several helicopter shots.
