Normally #10 Khunemann making the same amount of runs as Carey this series (and more than Labuschagne) sums up how poor the batting has been

What a great idea to stack the batting and weaken the bowling. I'm sure it'll work one day just like the real communism. All those single figure scores from Marnus down and bowling effort that could've won it if they played the full quota of bowlers instead.

Normally I would agree, but I don't see how an extra bowler would have helped on that pitch. A seamer would have been pointless, and Tanveer Sangha wouldn't have offered more than the part timers tbh. Short outbowled him last game and it would just have weakened the batting.

Unfortunately the conditions selected for a team stacked with part-time spinners

Honestly, given that the conditions for the WC will be in SA and thus about as removed from these pudding pitches as you're likely to get, these are meaningless games even by JAMODI standards. Wouldn't read too much into anything that happened at all.

Tanveer would certainly have batted for a long time and occupied the crease without any regard for the scoreline though. He has form doing that.

Now time for the Bangladesh ODI Tour which thankfully starts at a much earlier time (3pm Aussie)

Australia Squad
Marsh (c), Bartlett, Carey, Connolly, Dwarshuis, Ellis, Green, Head, Inglis, Kuhnemann, Labuschagne, Renshaw, Sangha, Scott, Zampa

Out: Short, Peake, Stanlake, Meredith

Marsh has not been ruled out of squad but not confirmed yet either? Also to keep Labuschagne while sending home Short and Peake is a joke.

A win is a win.

A loss is a loss.

Absolutely, if this were real cricket with an audience of more than 7 blokes the selectors would have hard questions to answer

The constant selection of Marnus has been beyond joke for a long time now. Somehow him finally getting dropped for like 2 games last year and then immediately being reselected makes it even worse. He's lucky Green has been copping a lot of the flack, undeserved-selection-wise

Me and 7 of my mates were watching, so this is factually incorrect.

You salty Aussies need to stop downplaying this historic win for Pakistan, and
bitter embarrassment for Australia.

This victory is like the 5 cent coin you see on the pavement that isn't worth stooping to pick it up. But it isn't IPL or a 2 day test at least so it's got that going for it.
