But Ben Stokes, their captain, suggested that England will stick to their guns and head straight to Brisbane on November 26 to prepare for the second Test at the Gabba. 'A long time ago', preparation for the next test would have been a first class game against a full strength state side. Playing no game at all is in fact a fairly modern thing.

Renshaw to open, no other changes​

Marnus or Green and add Webster or Inglis​

2) Lyon -is he injured, is he required for pink ball test

If rested then can bring in Webster or Neser as bowling and strengthen batting​

3) Is Cummins ready to return? If available, he will improve bowling and tail.

Yep they typically roll in the afternoon here. Usually pass pretty quickly but they drop a fair bit of rain, usually with some lightning.

Been non-stop for the past 4 weeks, I can't imagine it's about to change but here's hoping.
