BGT 2027 is one of most awaited series in this wtc cycle after ashes. Let us post about preparation of both sides, how they are shaping up in build up to this series

Major problem for india is finding a proper no. 3 and good off spinner. It would be interesting to see if gambhir would survive till then

Gambhir is going to be India's coach till at least 2028/29. He is not going anywhere tbh. They will undoubtedly give him the chance to defend his T20 WC title in 2028. And let's be honest BCCI doesn't care about results in Tests as much as we think or else Gambhir would have been a goner from Tests after home defeats.

Whatever it takes!!!
Sai Suds has been disappointing and for a home series, I feel like DDP or someone could do a job on the home tracks. But also, thinking long term, and putting eye test above stats, I think Sai Suds will come good. So lets see. The Afghanistan test and the SL tests should tell us a lot. For those ones, I would be thinking..

We can always play Akash Deep ahead of Bumrah for the Afghanistan test and maybe even the SL test series as long as Akash gets himself fit. Shami is also a potential guy to play instead of Bumrah. Maybe we rotate those two playing with Siraj and Prasidh if Akash is still not back to full fitness.

Why not play r. Samran. Unlike sai suds he is proven ranji performer. Also need to groom pacers for 27 sa tour, 28 bgt in aus& 29 at trophy in eng. Cant waste time on akash deep& brown ambrose. Again Give chances to ranj performers like nabi & and tall young pace bowlers like gurnoor & ashok

I wont mind playing Nabi instead of Akashdeep for sure. But those are all good bowlers who deserve their shots IMO.

I'll not deny that he had good tours. That still doesn't take away the fact that Khawaja was over rated.

Tour schedule is out. Tests would be played at nagpur, chennai, guwahati, ranchi and Ahmadabad
First test @ nagpur from jan 21-25
Second test @ chennai from jan 29-2
Third test @ guwathi from feb 11-15
Fourth test @ ranchi from feb 19-23
Fifth test @ Ahmadabad from feb 27- march 3
