When are we meeting to discuss this application? I think it needs to be reinforced that 25K is the cut off for applying to the Platinum Lounge, but it doesn't assure you of membership.

Personally have no issue with SF joining, but rules are rules.

I've been edging dangerously close to 10k posts now.

The thought makes me feel wistful and reflective, and half seriously contemplating quitting or at least taking a long break from the site.

On the one hand it's like "what have I really done with all this time?"

And on the other hand I do realize there's a fair bit of good my exposure to this site has done for me and hopefully others as well.

Ah well...
