Imo shastri would be fine coach for england. Is great man manager. Can manage big egos in dressing room. Knows how to beat Australia. Has great knowledge about sub continent conditions. English fans whats your opinion 😀

England should honestly see if they can hire Ashwin immediately.

He's really impressed me with the depth of his insight into the game, and especially getting strategic edges, during his videos.

Yes, it's often a bit annoying if you're an opposing fan which could be grating over the years, but honestly if you've got a chance at getting ahold of a cricket brain like that on your side you jump at the opportunity.

Not sure this would help the team’s drinking culture reputation.

On a serious note, Shastri gets unfair flak for drinking largely because he is open about it. Vengsarkar, Engineer, Sivaramakrishnan etc. were bigger drinkers.
