Current greats and all time greats

Line and Length

International Coach
No it doesn't , he's only really failed with the ball in two places , New Zealand and England and he has done well there with the bat. He's probably the greatest fielder of the 2010's to boot. He's an ATG for me.
Great fieldsman indeed and a great bowler at home. His batting averages against Australia, New Zealand and South Africa are barely a pass and his bowling away from home is mediocre. Too many question marks for mine.

If his keeping is that bad surely just play him as a bat because as far as I'm aware India seem to have a few very good keeper batsmen. Island Kishan, the guy who was here in Australia last year whose name I can't remember. Probably a few others too

Edit: Dhruv Jurel. Saw him live at the MCG against Aus A he looked very good
For some reason, when Pant and Jurel both plays, Pant keeps and Jurel plays as a specialist bat. Have no Idea why really. Same with Kishan, has been from their U-19 days.

Maybe Pant would be even worse in the field. Probably can't move, so keeps as the lesser of 2 evils. Either that or he demands to keep as the bigger name

He's an all time great bowler because of his career average (21.58). Away from home he still averages 26.08. He would have had more away wickets if the England selectors thought he should tour more. Unfortunately he was regarded as a discipline problem.
Jadeja only has a bad bowling record in England. His bowling record in Australia and SA even is quite Good. To boot, he averages 35+ with the bat everywhere he plays. All the while, his career average is 37 with bat and 24 with ball. Definitely an ATG in my book. Trueman also averages 30 away without minnow NZ

I see Jadeja as a very good test all rounder but not an ATG.
ATG's should be a select band (and limited) and he doesn't quite get in.
Excellent fielder too.

Jaiswal must crub his instinct to cut balls outside off. I was really disappointed by him in sa series where he became Jansen's bunny

Jadeja is probably the batsman I trust the most in the Indian team right now. He’s very calm at the crease and never looks in a hurry to play shots. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends his career with a batting average above 40 and a bowling average under 25. For me, he’s already an ATG.
