It's me again! It's been ~3 years since I launched Criggit for Windows which was a bit of a fun experiment having spent a lot of time with the early DOS and Windows-based cricket simulators in the 1990s.
I've been working on an online webapp version of Criggit since the beginning of the year. This uses a more sophisticated match engine and has a lot more features.
- T20s, ODIs, Tests
- Series
- Tournaments
- Statistics fully saved
- User vs User / User vs AI / AI vs AI
- Online Play (Beta) ... play your team against anyone in the world, 100% online
- Leagues / PBeM / Fantasy
- Develop your own team, or draft a team from the international player database
- ESPNcricinfo inspired look & feel
- Batting/bowling aggressions, worm, manhattan graphs, wagon wheels
- Internal messaging feature / feature request form
- More features in the works
Best of all there are NO downloads needed, meaning this game can be played on PC, Mac or iPad. You just need a web browser and internet connection. Just register and play. The webapp is up and running at criggit <dot> io
I'm not going down the career mode app (like Cricket Coach / ICC). Criggit remains to be more of a simulator designed to carry on the work from ITC/HODI.
If anyone has any feature requests let me know, I'd be keen to get people playing
