Whatever it takes!!!
RIP 😞 His enthusiasm for the game was there for all to see, thanks to CW, till his very last breath. Hope he did not suffer much and it was peaceful. God bless and we will miss him here at CW enormously.

Cricketer Of The Year
There might be a case for that as it could be inadvertently upsetting. Or he could laugh at it like Mark Twain and say it was an exaggeration.

Midwinter

State Captain
Apologies to all here especially JBMAC.

The coincidence of the name and the era in which he played led to the unfortunate jumping to a conclusion.

I' m glad we are still able to hear JBMAC's stories of watching Bradman and of facing up to Wes Hall and Thommo in their primes.

Apologies once again.

International Captain
Santhebennur Akshay has died at the age of 39 after suffering a heart attack while playing a club cricket match in Bengaluru.

A right‑arm seamer, Akshay played six First‑Class games for Karnataka between 2011 and 2012, taking 18 wickets at 28.11. He also featured in three List A matches during that period and was part of Karnataka’s 2014 Ranji Trophy winning squad. In 2019, he appeared in the Karnataka Premier League.
