Yeah it's very well written. The thing to take out of this is more than his skills, it was Imran's presence that enabled some of the lesser players to perform at their most optimum level. It's a very useful thing when you are running a cricket team. Not everyone is as good as you but if you provide them an environment to flourish, the standing of the team rises ten folds. Current Pakistan team lacks that fight and self believe more than anything else. Talent will come and go but if you lose the dog then it is a downward spiral. Sajid Khan is the prototype cricketer under Imran, guy with limited ability but great character. You see him bat, bowl or field, it's 100% commitment every single time. I had always rated Imran as better than Kallis when this was discussion ever came about because in their primary disciplines I had Imran ahead but not far, though I rated Imran's batting higher than Kallis's bowling by a reasonable amount

That's what I meant when I said that I had Imran ahead in their primary disciplines but not by much. Of course, it is a fair shout that Kallis was a greater fielder too but even so, I would still have had Imran ahaed overall.

I think Imran was more valuable and better in primary, just.
It swaps for secondary for me, would prefer to have that level of 4th / 5th bowler, think it's more valuable as well.
