Pakistan in Bridgetown 1988 or India in Adelaide 2003 ? Which is the greater overseas win ?

Pakistan won in Georgetown I thought so maybe a minor change to the poll is warranted

Tough one. The Adelaide match was better and come from behind. Georgetown was a special accomplishment. I’m very happy for the equal option.

I posted similar thread. Anyway both have asterisk of best players of opposition missing. Georgetown had viv&Marshall while Adelaide had McGrath and warne however i voted for Adelaide due to bais😉

Pak won in Georgetown in 1988, not Bridgetown (Barbados).
But I totally understand the typo because the Bridgetown, Barbados match which the Windies won by the skin of their teeth is far more remembered.
Chasing 260+ in the 4th innings, West Indies were tottering at 180/7 before somehow scrambling to victory with help from the Umpires.

Since I followed live cricket in the 1980s, the psychological impact of that West Indies team is deeply imprinted. It still boggles my mind that when playing a full strength side, they lost just 1 Test series from 1976 to 1994.
So I rate Pak performance in the 1988 series much higher than India's performance in 2003 Aus series.
Also Aus were without their lead bowler Glenn McGrath in that 2003-04 series against India.
McGrath's presence in that series, IMO, would have made a huge difference.
