4 games vs 1. can't think any seriously at all tbhYeah, but Richards actually performed outstandingly in test cricket and was a key performer in a brilliant 4-0 series win. Sobers failed in ODI cricket.

I agree, I personally think it makes more sense to pick ODI XIs based on what players have achieved in ODIs rather than what they had the potential to achieve (based on their other results)Some people are reluctant to put B Richards in all time test teams due to only playing 1 series in which he was absolutely outstanding and averaged over 70, yet Sobers can be picked in all-time ODI teams after playing 1 ODI in which he scored a 6-ball duck and took a wicket. Can a player who scored zero ODI runs really be considered as an ODI allrounder?
Yeah we might as well pick Bradman in the next team. Some people are reluctant to put B Richards in all time test teams due to only playing 1 series in which he was absolutely outstanding and averaged over 70, yet Sobers can be picked in all-time ODI teams after playing 1 ODI in which he scored a 6-ball duck and took a wicket. Arnold over Yuvraj is wild. We already have Shakib as the fifth bowler so we don't really need an allrounder, and Arnold's bowling isn't necessarily better than Root's or Waugh's anyway (and I'd argue it's worse than Dilshan's). Yuvraj is clearly a better batsman.Tough on Yuvraj, but Shakib's SLAs make his bowling a bit redundant.
Daryl Mitchell
Tough one: Abdul Razzaq & Chris Harris are close, but I'll go Russell Arnold
Lasith Malinga
My interpretation is the playing an ODI is a requirement and then using all evidence about the eligible players (those who played an ODI) to work out who would be the best option for that position and the attribute that really helps Sobers for me beyond his shear all round quality is the ability to bowl left arm fast-medium, left arm finger spin and left arm wrist spin which means he can change style mid over depending on the batter on strike's weaknesses and can also mean that the style of your 5th bowler can adjust based on all available information, including actually game play, on how the pitch is playingSome people are reluctant to put B Richards in all time test teams due to only playing 1 series in which he was absolutely outstanding and averaged over 70, yet Sobers can be picked in all-time ODI teams after playing 1 ODI in which he scored a 6-ball duck and took a wicket. It's the same why Grace made World B or Barry did World C Test teams. Don't think there's much different tbhMy interpretation is the playing an ODI is a requirement and then using all evidence about the eligible players (those who played an ODI) to work out who would be the best option for that position and the attribute that really helps Sobers for me beyond his shear all round quality is the ability to bowl left arm fast-medium, left arm finger spin and left arm wrist spin which means he can change style mid over depending on the batter on strike's weaknesses and can also mean that the style of your 5th bowler can adjust based on all available information, including actually game play, on how the pitch is playing
I agree but Arnold was a finisher at 7, while Yuvraj was a 4/5. It is Mitchell over YuviArnold over Yuvraj is wild. Will take Inzi over at 4, he below that. His career is rather short but damn he is GoodIs Darryl Mitchell there already? Seems crazy premature. Crowe and Inzi should still be ahead. Morgan too.
I'll go
Inzi
Yuvraj
