It would be the most England thing ever to lose all 3 games and blame not making the semi finals on "the Aus v SA game was washed out which really cost us"

I wouldn't worry about it. No way are that lot winning both games. I'd be more worried if a potential tie breaker was a round of golf.

they should simply do away with ODIs entirely as a format, and have more test series (4 or 5 test series) and International T20s.
No longer a fan of ODI especially the dithering that most teams do for long stretches in this format.
