Surprised to check and see Onslow won after being 40 behind on the first innings yesterday. Five wicket bag from Oscar Jackson in the second innings to help bundle Hutt District out for 87 in the second innings. A number of handy contributions in the run chase. Jackson with a great six over the off side @4.49.40. His younger brother Charlie was unbeaten at the end. Some boundaries at @617.25 off Paranjape and a switch hit six @619.55.

Auckland Cricket had to move. Gotta get cracking.

Of course NZC remains committed to Eden Park's retractable seating. That gamble better work out, & they'll have to hurry if they want it in time for the 2028 T20WC. I've never been a fan of two international cricket venues in Auckland, & I certainly think a CMP with a <10k capacity is too small, but then again, my ideal is one ground that's 20-30k.
