I've been crunching some numbers anyway for it. I don't see the franchises selling for more than $10 million each (total $60M tops) & I don't see a pathway towards it being a stable revenue source, especially if NZC gets no ownership stake & only gets paid a fee; that fee probably won't make up for what they lose not hosting international cricket. Even the MAs' cut can't be more than a quarter-mil/yr each, certainly not a half-mil.

At least the women's comp will stay around, even if it's no longer televised & gets relegated to YouTube. The NZ20 consortium says they want a women's comp up & running by December next year, but I don't see it happening then & even so I don't see it becoming a 6-team comp but a WCPL-style tri series, so they'll have to keep it around.
