Yeah I didn't say that but you never change ok? At least I didn't say he was beating them for pace, like say a Sloon. Or Lee. Or even Holdsworth.
Everything you've said on this topic has been not only wrong, but the exact opposite of reality (yes PEWS), and then instead of any rational discussion you're just responding with unrelated personal attacks. Come on bro

I don't think we hyped Watson
Objectively wrong
and I can remember his bowling came on later than his batting
Objectively wrong
I can remember him bowling medium pacers and was no more than a bitser as a bowler
Completely wrong
He became an AR
Wrong
when he became fitter he was able to bowl faster
Most laughably wrong of the lot
and I can't recall the hype over him as claimed.
Only accurate thing you said, clearly you "can't recall"

You know, I wouldn't hate it if I wasn't aware of the privatisation crap that has plagued Aus Cricket since the end of the summer. Even then, I'm glad the Stars are finally dead.

But that second licence is open for grabs yes?

That was my question too.

I genuinely think the competition could be better off with only seven teams. I have little doubt that CA will try make any new team be on the Gold Coast, despite the fact that, as @Spark said a few years back, it's Australia's sporting black hole.

Having lived on the GC for 20 of the last 30 years or so, the problem has always been management

There’s great facilities, big support and huge junior nurseries but the management is woeful

No surprise that the Suns have finally become relevant after appointing an elite coach while the Titans remain garbage because they refuse to overhaul the system

I do feel for CA here, they've basically caught in one hell of a pickle given everything happening in world cricket (which has been woefully under-discussed here imo). in a way, NSW has probably done CA a favour by forcing CA to punt on making a decision on The Plan and thereby opening the door for the individual states to be the ones that sell while some keep their BBL teams

Poor CA, they're the real victims here.

And of course, leave it to the state full of Neo-Nazis, Sov Cits and people like TJB to do their dirty work for them and begin the metastasizing of this cancer.
