    3rd Match - India v USA (Feb 7)

It’s “we”. Players are just temporarily hired mercenaries  In fact, forget “we”. It’s ME. MY team.

    3rd Match - India v USA (Feb 7)

Man this was closer than I expected. A great showing though, at the end of that 6th over, I was texting everyone that there was a huge chance of a major upset! Pretty dissapointed in the end - by halfway mark - you knew it was way too many but based on this performance, I think we have a shot...

Will McCullum be sacked if England loses Ashes ?

Meh. Like they did better than this in the last fifteen years over in Australia….

Will McCullum be sacked if England loses Ashes ?

Much better England teams have lost to worse Australian teams in Australia.

Will McCullum be sacked if England loses Ashes ?

No, they have been over performing their talent under McCullum. That’s the only way to judge a coach - are you doing better results than the talent would suggest? Answer is unequivocally yes.

*Official* 3rd Test (Adelaide) 17th-21st December

When Australia win by 81 runs, I welcome the moral victory celebrations from England. Because they will have lost the right way. test cricket will have been saved etc etc

*Official* South Africa Tour to India 2025

Yeah. Way worse. Gautam Gambhir, with better talent in Indian cricket than any other coach in history (even though he refuses to pick that talent), has lost 52% of his Test matches. Greg Chappell lost less than 25%. At some point, the sample size becomes too large to ignore. I don't care...

Well done SA. Two home sweeps. In India. Gambhir is the worst coach I have seen India have during my time watching cricket. The selections are mind bogglingly bad.

*Official* 1st Test (Perth) 21-22 November

TF did I watch? Was this game played in Ahemdabad? I had literally rescheduled my shifts to have a bunch back to back early so I could watch the fourth and fifth day at home in their entirety. FML.

Indian spinners aren’t usually the biggest turners of the ball because that’s not what usually gets them success domestically. They need to be a little faster in the air, rely on accuracy and other deceptions. Taking advantage of the uneven bounce off the pitch especially in the fourth innings...

Play with fire and you can’t be upset when you get burned. India are aiming to have a better away than home record this WTC cycle.
