Youhana doubtful for second Test

Former Pakistan vice-captain, batsman Yousuf Youhana, is almost guaranteed to miss the second Test against West Indies at Jamaica starting June 3, as he has flown back home to attend to his ill father.

Youhana, who also missed the first Test, said on Saturday, on his return home, “I don’t have enough time to make it back to Jamaica. My father was very ill and I want to be close to him at this time. I don’t think I would have been able to concentrate on my cricket.”

Pakistan will be bolstered by the return of Inzamam-ul-Haq at the helm though, who also missed the first Test, serving a one-match ban, a result of excessive appealing during the last Test on the India tour.

Pakistan lost the first Test miserably, by 276 runs, giving West Indies only their second Test win in the last 19 matches, as the hosts lead the series 1-0.
