Styris looking good for Champs

Black Caps allrounder Scott Styris has begun bowling again as he looks towards getting fit for the Champions Trophy next month in India.

Styris had been struggling with back pain during his spell with English county side Middlesex and returned home early for treatment.

Black Caps Manager Linsday Crocker said the bowlers have started their bowling loads in preparation for the Champions Trophy, with Daniel Vettori, Jacob Oram, Kyle Mills and Shane Bond all looking good after coming back from injuries.

The Black Caps fly out to New Delhi next Saturday and play their first game in the Champions Trophy against South Africa on 16th October.
