No retirement for Wiseman

Former New Zealand spin-bowler Paul Wiseman has signed a three year deal with England county side Durham, which will take him to the end of the 2009 season.

36 year-old Wiseman who has played 25 Tests and 15 one-day internationals for the Black Caps between 1998 and 2005, has been playing for Durham’s A team this season, and following this deal, Durham have the chance of naming him in the first team with immediate affect.

Wiseman commented to media that he is very excitied to be joining a club that is going places and one that has a track record of producing quality players.
