McMillan called up for 2nd ODI

Craig McMillan has been called up for the second ODI against Sri Lanka as cover for Nathan Astle who is struggling with severe bruising to his inside right thigh.

McMillan has played 175 one-day internationals for the Black Caps and played his last ODI against Australia in December 2005. McMillan averages 27.47 with the bat and 35.87 with the ball.

The second one-day international is being played in Queenstown on 31st December.
