Can't believe commentators are still talking 280 here.. do they really have no idea wtf has happened this WC?

Meh. probably 1-2 overs too many with the really attacking fields which have served NZ well, but as usual everyone freaking out & overreacting.
It's not so much the field placings rather than bowling choices, NZ's 5th bowlers now have to bowl about half the overs towards the end which is a big ask.

Anderson is a perfectly good fifth bowler. So it should not be much of a concern. The concern is just the new God AB.

****ing hell best bat in the world in and I'm stuck in the toilet, and I'm going about the task slower than Sanga vs South Africa. Bowels are ****ing me over here. Wc is once every 4 years ffs. Brutal.

Yeah some pretty average doom & gloom posting in recent times. Essentially repeating the same things,
Its a fact that south africa are heavy favourites at the moment (about 2:1). No one saying NZ are out of the game though obviously

Weirdest thing is most of it is from non-NZers.

Rest of us have picked up the team vibe which is that anything is possible. If they score 350 we'll go out and try to chase 350. It is difficult yes, though it is achievable.

Look at the pitch, look at how easy it's been to bat on.

If they get less than 350 we should get home easy.
Pitch is flat, but the pressure of chasing in a semi final is a factor too.

Anything above 280 is game on IMO.

Definitely looking at 300++ at this stage tho.
