And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

Can't really see Aussies losing this one. Batting is a little bit stronger(Because of impact players) and deeper than the Indians. Definitely stronger bowling up. India may have to bat first and score more than 300 to put Australia under pressure. Chasing Australian target of more than 270 looks highly unlikely. So toss would be crucial as well from an Indian point of view.

Just wish we don't drop any catches like we've done against India this summer (albeit they were in tests not odis).

We are gonna get soooooooooo smashed... That Aussie batting line up is scary good... Worst part is, a whole bunch of them love playing against India.. Smith, Clarke, Watson, Maxwell, Faulkner.. All 5 have demolished our bowling attacks in ODIs so many times.. And Starc's yorkers can get anyone out, and we only have like 7 decent batting options... It is all gonna come crashing down next Thursday for us. Oh well.. T' was good while it lasted.

This is 50/50 imo. The team that handles the pressure of the occasion will come out as winner

I was responding to a statement that India would have to play out of their skins to beat the Aussies. No such claim are being made the other way around. So what exactly are you pointing to the non-evidence for?

    ODI stats say otherwise.

Basically your last statement that 280 makes India favourites. Assuming the SCG pitch isn't completely awful you'd say 280 isn't that uncomfortable at all.

300+ - which, ofc, India are more than capable of - now we're talking.

Yeah Australia are definitely favourites here but they're going to have to play at their best too. It's just likely that Australia will do well against us because we have the type of bowling Australia usually murder. Don't even think the pacers are the real problem. Think Jadeja's going to be destroyed.

Our only real hope is if we bat out of our ****ing skins because I'm resigned to the fact that Australia will score plenty.

32 isn't really struggling though. It's not great, but I wouldn't call it struggling.
